As a child, I discovered my parent's wedding album hidden under their bed. It was makeshift book with photographs spilling out of the pages because the glue was so old it wouldn't hold them anymore.

This small collection of photographs transported me to the beginning of a more than thirty-five-year-old marriage. My beautiful mother, in her mother's gown, holding tightly to my mustached father in a powder blue tuxedo (complete with a ruffled shirt) brought an immense smile to my face.

My parent's decision to house their photographs under their bed was simply to keep them safe from four grubby children, but I was disappointed that I had never seen them before I snooped around.

Photographs from your wedding deserve more than to exist as a loose prints under your bed or sitting in a computer for decades.
